Jon Kyl's big problem

Tonight on Special Report with Brit Hume there was a segment on Senator Jon Kyl's decision to support Maverick's immigration position. This change of heart on Senator Kyl's part has miffed, angered enraged a lot of Arizona Republicans to the point that they are turning in their voter registration cards and becoming independents. In fact, the state Republican party leadership has all but excommunicated their two Republican Senators for their apostasy on illegal immigration.

Fortunately for Senator Kyl, he was reelected in 2006 and won't have to face the ire of the people for 6 years. I hope that Kyl has a change of heart back to his original position although I doubt his support is enough to keep this, and I quote, "piece of s***" alive. And if Kyl sticks tough with St. John then I wouldn't mind see him go for my own reason.

In September 2006, working with former congressman Jim Leach, Jon Kyl was a major House supporter of Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 picking up on his father John Kyl's pet cause. The Act was passed at midnight the day Congress adjourned before the 2006 elections. Prior to it being added to the bill, the gambling provisions had not been debated by any Congressional committee.[5]
Looks like Senator Kyl decided to gamble his career on this bill. Haha.
