I would have been in the 25 million
My Dad told me a story about my grandfather. Both were staunch conservatives, anti-communists, and lover's of America. My grandfather told him that he should fight as hard as he could against the communists in America because if they ever took over, with a last name like ours, we would be the first on the list. I always thought this was rather histrionic. Sure his fervor for freedom rubbed off on me but I never thought that those nice hippies that populated my school would want to kill me. Boy was I wrong.
I asked, “Well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?” And the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.
And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers.
And when I say “eliminate,” I mean “kill.”
Twenty-five million people.
I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people.
And they were dead serious.
