Government Spending is an Issue
Spending doesn't help but blunt statements like this one from Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the House majority whip, helps in other ways:
"We've got to spend our way out of this recession, and I think most economists know that."That sounds like an honest campaign slogan for the Democrats. I believe the voters disagree and will speak for themselves when next given the opportunity.
